It’s easy to reach from Kuta, Kerobokan, Canggu, Sanur, and Ubud — without the usual traffic hassle. It’s perfect for short-to-long term storage, and if needed, we can arrange a service (for a fee) to pick up your items and carefully place them into your unit.

A Numeronym with Meaning

“T4MPAT” is a playful twist on the Indonesian word “tempat” (“place”). By substituting “empat” (four) with the number 4, we created a unique, memorable name.

1) Our Beginnings (2017–Present)

We opened our very first purpose-built facility at Jl. Cokroaminoto, Denpasar (Ubung) in September 2017, making T4mpat one of the earliest self-storage providers of its kind in Bali. Over the years, we’ve expanded and refined our services, designing better layouts and solutions based on real customer behavior and Bali’s unique storage needs.

September 2017 → February 2025

Opened our first purpose-built facility at Jl. Cokroaminoto, Denpasar (Ubung). This site operated successfully for over 7.5 years and was designed with ample natural ventilation — no dehumidifiers were used at this location.

Over the years, we gained invaluable experience in understanding Bali’s unique climatic challenges and the impact they have on stored belongings. By learning from real-world conditions and evolving customer needs, we’ve adapted our facility designs and storage solutions to provide even better protection today.

Nov 2021 → Present

Expanded into Tegal Cupek, Kerobokan, opening our second facility to better serve the growing storage demand in the Kerobokan, Umalas, and Canggu areas. Thanks to the building’s design, we incorporated extensive natural ventilation and became the first storage facility in Bali to introduce dehumidifiers, providing customers with an added layer of protection against Bali’s challenging humidity.

Mid 2024 → Present

Launched our Jl. Cargo, Denpasar facility — a modern, purpose-built flagship designed for enhanced performance and durability. Built with an 80% metal frame and cladded structure, this facility features improved layouts, units with abundant natural ventilation, and dehumidifiers programmed to operate during periods of high humidity, providing optimal protection for stored belongings.

2) 25 Years of Expertise — Built in Bali

Our storage know-how comes from 25+ years living and working in Bali. Before T4mpat, we helped run a furniture production company, handling our own shipping logistics from Bali to the USA and the UK. We also gained deep experience from building houses, villas and warehouses — the practical foundation for everything we do today in construction, climate management and customer advice.
